I mastered this wit a demo version of Izotope’s Ozone 3 plug-in, a mastering tool that I am so hapy with I think i might be returning my Liquid Mix and buying the full version, this sucker’s got some juice!!

it’s been a while

well well well. forward momentum music is up and running. sprinting with a splint for the first hurdle in the steeplechase of life.

students and bands keep coming, Marty and Kevin are getting busier, I am busy with the Play Su-Kat for which i am doing live sound design (and even a bit of acting!)

I have finally starting writing songs again after a lengthy drought, all a part of the musician’s creative cycle really.

I have been impressed lately with, of course, the new Ryan Adams album http://www.cardinology.com/ (or)  http://www.davidryanadams.com/

and also with this guy who calls himself Throw Me the Statue. I Heard his song Moonbeams, title track form his latest album at Urban Outfitters and i was captured and captivated. It is on the great indie label Secretly Canadian which apparently almost had Chad VanGaalen on their roster except they weren’t very nice to his friend so he said, “F”arewell to them.

‘the girls’ (emily, elizabeth, Hannah, and jordan) have all been making amzing tracks in their lessons lately and many breakthroughs happening with all students at all levels.
